Seasons keep on changing–and every season is different. The things that remain constant are God’s faithfulness, and the fact that he has a purpose for my life.
===========================
Scripture

Joshua 13:1
“Now Joshua was old and advanced in years, and the Lord said to him, ‘You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to possess.'”
Observation
Joshua was reaching a season when many would be looking to sit back and enjoy a slower pace–but God said there was ‘very much land’ still remaining to be taken. God acknowledged his age and his season, but told him that the job wasn’t finished yet. God didn’t expect Joshua to fulfill this season on his own power any more than the previous seasons–and God was faithful to empower Joshua just as he always had.
Application
Seasons keep on changing–and every season is different. The things that remain constant are God’s faithfulness, and the fact that he has a purpose for my life. In every season, I must remain attentive to his voice, because he’s not done with me yet!
This week I need to remain attentive and faithful to his purpose for me, so that he would be glorified in my life.
Prayer
God, thank you for your faithfulness through every changing season! Thank you for giving me strength to do all that you’ve called me to do. Help me to walk faithfully and fulfill your plans in my life, until the day I hear you say “well done!”
